enjoying every moment

sipping my cup of hot milo, slowly marking the student's work on this cool night while listening to 883jia fm. yeah.

21st birthday parties. 23apr was michael's. his was very grand. stamford catering service if i'm not wrong. still got chef frying charkwayteow and preparing tempura on the spot. went early to help him with setting up, but realised everything was done. hahaha. ended up slacking around in his room and caught up with him since we havent met for some time. gonna organise a pri sch gathering soon in late may or june cause only 4 came that day. the rest were busy.

yesterday was weelic's 21st. he invited me to his very unique birthday party which was held under the void deck. some may say it's very unglam, but to me, this is one of the best i have atttended so far. the best thing is that the dress code is just wear what you would at a void deck. and so i wore plain tee, shorts and slippers. haha. met my encik and army friends for breakfast and then went swimming. so no point wearing nice nice since i going swimming. still must change in and out, very 麻烦. his party was very engaging. still got games before cake cutting. i ended up as one of the few doing a calk wat in front of the guest as part of the activity. before i did the cat walk, i was asked by the emcee how i knew weelic. actually i cant remember too. i just knew we used to take bus 169 home from angmokio after cca. he was in ncc and i was in badminton. and we still joked about this 169 bus gang. before we left, he still got a token for all the guest. which is a wallet sized photo which we took with him earlier. instantly printed them out and gave to us. thanks weelic!

went to woodlands waterfront park on good friday with the SHG children. 2nd time there. a whole morning of fun and laughter. we played frisbee, badminton, kite flying... i didnt know kite flying was so easy. willy, one of the volunteer took less than five minutes to get the kite up. the previous time i fly my doraemon kite at marina barrage was totally hopeless. hahaha. no skill la.
shall try again soon.

alright. back to marking paper before i ZzZz on my desk. haha.

what are words

what are words if you really dont mean them when you say them?

What Are Words - Chris Medina

Anywhere you are, I am near
Anywhere you go, I'll be there
Anytime you whisper my name, you'll see
How every single promise I keep
Cause what kind of guy would I be
If I was to leave when you need me most

What are words
If you really don't mean them
When you say them
What are words
If they're only for good times
Then they don't
When it's love
Yeah, you say them out loud
Those words, They never go away
They live on, even when we're gone

And I know an angel was sent just for me
And I know I'm meant to be where I am
And I'm gonna be
Standing right beside her tonight
And I'm gonna be by your side
I would never leave when she needs me most

What are words
If you really don't mean them
When you say them
What are words
If they're only for good times
Then they don't
When it's love
Yeah, you say them out loud
Those words, They never go away
They live on, even when we're gone

Anywhere you are, I am near
Anywhere you go, I'll be there
And I'm gonna be here forever more
Every single promise I keep
Cause what kind of guy would I be
If I was to leave when you need me most

I'm forever keeping my angel close

grow and share

'GE' here, 'GE' there, 'GE' everywhere. best part of the GE is the grow and share! hahaha. it rhymes. for those who are have turned or are turning 21 this year, better hurry sign up via www.growandshare.gov.sg by 19 april to receive your growth dividend on 1 may.

went for two 21st birthday celebrations last weekend. really good to see my army bunk mates again. havent seen them for quite some time. glad to see that all is doing fine. will be attending more 21st birthday celebrations. can catch up with old friends whom you havent met for a long time. yeah. but it also means that i have to buy more birthday presents! hahahahaha.

last week, the weather was terrible. kept raining in the afternoon. for most of the time, i couldnt do anything much and ended up sleeping at home. got to swim once or twice only. went for a short 5.6km run yesterday night with bernard. supper @ D'rubinah Restaurant. prata + teh tarik. shiok! went to yishun student service centre this afternoon to teach the kids. watched them play captain's ball but they lost as the kids in other 2 teams have a height advantage over mine. some of them were a little demoralised. sometimes, it seems like making improvement is just not enough, probably winning a game would have make them feel better. this is something which i have been thinking about. howwww? hopefully i can think of a solution soon.

some time ago, someone by the name of samantha called in to 91.3fm and commented that the 'heartlanders' are uncultured and low class or whatsoever. these 'heartlanders' refer to those staying in areas like angmokio, yishun... you can check out this story via STOMP to know more about it. the noose last week responded to this and i think the noose crew did a good job. click here to watch the video. love the part when Barbarella asked samantha to read between the lines and played around with the word 'VILLAGE'. hahaha. awesome.

that's all for tonight. swimming tmr morning. starting my relief teaching next week. feeling excited, but a little worried too. a good learning experience though. yeah.

went night cycling on sat until sun morning. so far, this is the most tiring one as compared to the few i have done previously. only 4 other people turned up for the event. shunwei, jianwei, zhaochao and kenneth ngiam. a big thank to the four of them for attending this cycling session i tried to organise. hahaha. especially zhenchao who cycled on friday night already and stil came to cycle again on sat night. the whole journey wouldnt be fun without you guys! yeah.

we met at bedok at 5pm. went for an early dinner at subway. bought some tibits at cold storage so we can munch on them on the several checkpoints along the cycling route. rent the bikes from the bike rental shop beside the inline culture shop near the mcdonald. $8 for the whole night. haha. didnt expect it to be under $10. and so the cycling session started.

The Man Who Can't Be Moved - The Script

The Man Who Can't Be Moved - The Script (Music Video)

Going Back to the corner where I first saw you
Gonna camp in my sleeping bag I'm not gonna move
Got some words on cardboard, got your picture in my hand
Saying, "If you see this girl can you tell her where I am?"

Some try to hand me money, they don't understand
I'm not broke I'm just a broken hearted man
I know it makes no sense but what else can I do
How can I move on when I'm still in love with you

'cause if one day you wake up and find that you're missing me
And your heart starts to wonder where on this earth I could be
Thinkin maybe you'll come back here to the place that we'd meet
And you'll see me waiting for you on the corner of the street
So I'm not moving, I'm not moving

Policeman says, "Son you can't stay here"
I said, "There's someone I'm waiting for if it's a day, a month, a year"
Gotta stand my ground even if it rains or snows
If she changes her mind this is the first place she will go

'cause If one day you wake up and find that you're missing me
And your heart starts to wonder where on this earth I could be
Thinking maybe you'll come back here to the place that we'd meet
And you'll see me waiting for you on our corner of the street
So I'm not moving, I'm not moving,
I'm not moving, I'm not moving

People talk about the guy who's waiting on a girl
There are no holes in his shoes but a big hole in his world

Maybe I'll get famous as the man who can't be moved
Maybe you won't mean to but you'll see me on the news
And you'll come running to the corner
'cause you'll know it's just for you
I'm the man who can't be moved

'cause if one day you wake up and find that you're missing me
And your heart starts to wonder where on this earth I could be
Thinkin maybe you'll come back here to the place that we'd meet
And you'll see me waiting for you on the corner of the street
So I'm not moving, I'm not moving

'cause if one day you wake up and find that you're missing me
And your heart starts to wonder where on this earth I could be
Thinkin maybe you'll come back here to the place that we'd meet
And you'll see me waiting for you on the corner of the street

Going back to the corner where I first saw you
Gonna camp in my sleeping bag, I'm not gonna move

life's good

i'm back. back as in here to post new entry, not back from overseas or what. haha. post ORD life's not bad so far. found a job in feb and started working since 21feb. currently working as a student care teacher @ marsiling. when i started looking for job online, i didnt want to look for one that is at town area. very far and i hate squeezing into the train in the morning or during evening. so i just typed like 'jobs yishun', 'job sembawang' when using google search engine. hehe. until now, i find the job good and i like it. work from 7am to 12noon. it is like after/before school care service cater to the primary school children. i basically supervise them when they do schoolwork or assessment book, prepare them, get them ready and bring them to school. since the job end at noon, i normally reach home at about 1 and lepak at home! shiok. but i dont lepak every afternoon la. have been going swimming quite regularly recently. got to exercise and keep fit. i do work OT also when other teachers are on leave. haha. good life uh. in apr and may, i'll be going to pri sch to do relief teaching in the afternoon for 3 weeks. i guess it will be a brand new experience as i have never done relief teaching before and hopefully they can understand what i'm teaching. haha. feeling very excited about it. yeah.

was busy with university application too. due to my not so good a level results, i didnt manage to secure a place in the last two years. this year is my last try already. i really regretted not taking physics when i was in secondary school. took bio and chem. didnt know that physics is so important at that time. now i cant apply for almost all the engineering courses. haiya. what to do leh. just hope and pray hard that this year's application will turn out good, not like the previous 2 years. took SAT in jan and the results was not bad. hopefully it can help a little in applying to the uni ba.

went back to CDAC Supervised Homework Group (SHG) after i orded. was a little inactive during last few months due to ns but now i'm back. haha. new system, new yishun student service centre, many new students and volunteers. as i looked back, i have been at SHG for 4 years le. time really flies. yeah. i see a lot of potential in this batch of student and hopefully we can bring out the best in them. i missed the previous batches too. they still talk to me online and asked me if i'm still teaching. haha. really hope to see them again one day.

23 march. i turned 21. haha. didnt really celebrate my 21st birthday or organise a birthday party/chalet like many others did. but it was still awesome. mama papa gave me a big angbao, same as what they gave yb last year. haha. went to work in the morning. came home and lepak. what made me happy were the birthday wishes that i received. i didnt expect to receive so many, about 160 in all, be it on fb, smses, pm, smses, calls or house visit. haha. lejun and bernard came to my house at night at about 10pm with a cake. after that we still went to beancurd city to eat tau huay. yeah. awesome 21st birthday.

things i have completed after i ord:
kayaking one star
temp job found
relief teaching confirmed
uni application done
swimming regularly
bought a new printer (with fax, copy, print and scan) @ it show

things which i am currenly doing and yet to be completed:
learning how to swim freestyle (wonder how long will it take. hahaha.)
finish reading 'room' by emma donoghue (bought at popular recently)
planning night cycling session on 2-3apr (sme team)

things which i plan to do:
kayaking 2 star
organise badminton session for anderson sec badminton team mates
organise a sing song session
go overseas for a holiday if possible
buy a shirt for yongbiao (3apr his 22nd birthday)

alright. that's all i can think of right now and i shall stop here. going to sleep soon. have to wake up early tmr for work.

busy, very busy

have been very busy lately. shall update again when i have finished settling some stuff. stay tuned.

GONG XI FA CAI

dong dongdong qiang.
dong dongdong qiang.
dong dongdong qiang dong qiang dong qiang.

happy chinese new year too all. wishing everyone good health, happiness and love in the year of rabbit. i shall summarise a little on how i spent my chinese new year. this period can be categorised into 3 phases. pre-cny, cny and post cny.

PRE-CNY: shopping for new clothes, eating reunion dinner on cny eve, watching channel 8 countdown event on tv and 拜拜.
CNY: visiting relatives and catching up with each other, collecting angbaos, gambling, eating bakwa, watching TV, taking photos, hehehaha-ing...
POST CNY: sleeping till late morning/early afternoon, nua-ing at home and counting angbaos & money. hahahaha.

my awesome chinese new year! yeah. have been looking for a job. going to ORD on this coming friday lo. got this mixed feelings. happy that i'm going to ORD lo, but still a bit 依依不舍. i have been at pulau tekong for more than 1 year already and it's like my 2nd home. so weird that i'm saying this uh. hahaha. maybe i can come up with a long ORD post when i'm free. how will life be after i ORD? will i be nua-ing at home? will i be sitting in an office all day? so far, only one activity has been confirmed. 1star kayaking @ waterventure(sembawang) on 19&20feb. i need to start planning and also get a job.

i havent drawn for a long time. was reading my sister's art&craft book the other day. decided to draw something simple without much detail, only the outline. here's a picture of part of my table. didnt draw other part as it's in a mess. haha. can you guess what those rectagular and squarish thingies at the bottom right corner? maybe i should get a sketch book and start sketching some random stuff around me. yeah.

it's all about tiger

since the rabbit year is approaching in a few days' time, i'll end off this tiger year with 2 interesting issues related to 'tiger' plus 1 interesting photo.

recently, this tiger mum issue was making headlines on the newspapers. if you do not know anything about it, take some time and read about this. to further enhance your understanding, do visit Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother. i believe after reading these two articles, you might have something to comment uh, especially with regards to those strict rules listed out by Amy Chua. opinons were shared and discussions went on everything. here is one example and there are a lot more around if you google it. i shall express my humble opinions about the issue of tiger mum too.

firstly, i will never agree to the tiger mum's method of parenting, simply because to me, it is far too demanding. just ask yourself this simple question - is your child happy. things that make a parent happy or satisfied may be do the same to a child. carefully read the rules listed out, you will realise that some of them are impossible to achieve. the children are not allowed to 'not be the No. 1 student in every subject except gym and drama', which means to say it is a must to be No.1. if all parents were to set this as a rule, then wouldnt it be very chaotic as there are too many No.1s around?

secondly, i believe all aspects of a child's development are important, be it the social, mental, physical or academic aspects. if this parenting techniques is widely employing by parents, i guess the suicidal rates of teenagers will increase sharply. not everyone can easily cope with such a stressful teenage life. there should be a balance between work and play. we should not over exphasize only one aspect and neglect other important areas of development.

however, sad to say, this tiger mum method of parenting is somewhat slowly encroaching into our lives. if you scrutinise and think about our society today, it seems that everything works in a practical way. survival of the fittest. parents are more kiasu about their children's results. getting into good schools, having sessions after sessions of tuition + music classes + workshops. i hope that parents wont go to the extremes like the tiger mum's method. what is most important is a healthy development of the child and he/she can be happy.

now the 2nd interesting article, kitchen tigress and her birthday cake. yes. another article that led to many discussions on the blog. some may find it funny, some may be disgusted by her actions. i believe most of the people who were disgusted felt this way because they are able to put themselves into the shoes of the OCBC staff at that point of time. from this view point, it is true that kitchen tigress's actions were ridiculous and had caused inconvenience to many at the bank that day. personally, i felt it was quite funny at first. then i realised that what she did wasnt right. it was planned, even though she knew that she will not get the cake. in short, i see this as a deliberate attempt to make thing diffcult for the bank staff, 把自己的快乐建立在别人的痛苦之上. so please, think again before you want to do anything to anyone. never do things that you dont want others to do to you.

alright. now we move on to the photo. you may find it funnier if you have played DOTA before. in the game, there are many heros for the player to choose. one of them is called the Priestess of the Moon. here's a in game picture vs a real life photo of it. very different uh? hahaha.

2011

although this is a bit late, but still, happy 2011 to all. was too busy to update my blog. on the last day of 2010, i went out with bernard and lejun. watched 'the ghost must be crazy' at cineleisue before meeting up with aloysius. the hormedy (horror + comedy) is about 2 different stories. first is about army and second one is about ghost marriage. not bad, quite funny. maybe you should go watch it if you have not done so. went to clarke quay. there was this performance by a band and i think it's the same one performing during the 2009/2010 countdown. haha. same songs somemore. drank, chatted and viewed the fireworks display from where we were at (home club). left clarke quay and proceeded to dhoby ghaut to find tau huay and you tiao. for those who dont know, tau huay and you tiao are not our friends, they are crisp chinese crullers and beancurd. hahahahaha. my 1st time eating @ Rochor Original Beancurd (click on the link to see picture of tau huay and you tiao). lan gaming after that and then cabbed home. the taxi driver drove super fast, like a F1 driver. zai!

went through some of the photos taken in the year 2010. they sure bring back happy memories and experiences i had in the year 2010. below are the pictures and also 'photo of the year'. yeah.

and finally, the photo of 2010 is...

1. whatsonwhen

2. when and where to see fireworks

3. a cup of milk providing info on countdown to 2011 and mrt train service on new year eve

do not litter

had a great weekend last week catching up with my cousins. havent seen some of them for a long long time. took quite a number of photographs and they are all up on fb. in short, 25th & 26th dec = good food + gifts + laughter. totally awesome.

attended a seminar last wed while in camp. it's about delivering service excellence. learnt a little about face-to-face and also telephone comunication. it's quite common that most of us actually cant handle sudden difficult situation. so what was touched on by the speaker was using methods like empathetic listening and service language to handle such situation. this is certainly something useful and applicable to everyone in the later part of life when we have stepped in the working world.

booked out this afternoon. there's a bmtc gala event thingy tmr. it's at the universal studios singapore and the best thing is that we dont have to pay! haha. so excited about tmr. it will be a whole day of fun! as for friday, the last day of 2010, i'm still not sure where to go. hahaha. i'm looking forward to the the start of a brand new year, 2011. was reading 'hard at work for countdown'. one party, yet so much effort in planning and organising. however, there is something else that's not mentioned which i believe it should be reminded to all. DO NOT LITTER. below is a picture of the lianhezaobao on 27thdec. the title of the article says something like 'orchard road turned into a rubbish dump after party'. utterly disgusted to see those partygoers hehehaha and have their fun already and then just left the rubbish as 'presents' for the poor cleaners who have to clear everything throughout the night. penalty for litterbugs. so please, dont just leave your rubbish behind after partying.

SANTA

HOHOHO. merry christmas to all! actually, i'm feeling quite bored and so i edited my photo using paint. hehe. went to northpoint to shop for christmas gift yesterday afternoon. something embarrassing and funny happened when i was on the escalator. like some funny scene in anime. i shant talk about it here. hahaha.

have been looking forward to the weekend as i have 2 family gatherings. will be going to the fish farm later in the late morning. there's a gift exchange session. fun siol. havent been to the fish farm for a looooooooooong time. hopefully i'll get to drive the lorry for the 1st time. the last time i drove a vehicle with manual transmission is the time i took my driving test. wont be surprised if the lorry stall when i'm driving. hehe. the gathering on 26th with my maternal relatives will be somewhere in bukit timah. shall have to google the area as he has just moved house recently. alright. off to my bed now.

something to think about

this was posted some time ago in one of the entries and the answer will be revealed today.

try this. we were playing this during fieldcamp and some couldnt see the pattern while some took slightly longer to see it. if...

1+1=3 (two = 3 letters)
4+1=4 (five = 4 letters)
1+3=4 (four = 4 letters)
5+1=3 (six = 3 letters)

2-2=4 (zero = 4 letters)
8-2=3 (six = 3 letters)
6-4=3
11-6=4

3.3=4
3.4=6
2.5=3
3.5=7

what is 5-2? the answer is 5. i guess you should have understood by looking at the few examples i have explained.

:D

before i start, i would like to thank my pa, ronald lee and chen zhong for what they have done. it's the small things which they did made me feel really happy last week and i'm fortunate to have them around. thus, this blog post is dedicated to the 3 of them and many of the nice people around me.

i got into a minor incident last sat when driving. accidentally 'scratched' my dad's car against an electricity box on the wall of michael's house. it's more like came in contact with the box rather than scratch. some white marks were left on the sidedoor. i was shocked by then and of course, super worried too. by the time i reached home, it was aroudn 3+am. my dad woke up and i told him about the incident. he seemed ok and asked me to go sleep 1st. however, i couldnt sleep at all la. when he was about to leave house for work at about 5+am, i came out from my room, wanting to go down to the carpark with him to show him the white marks and explain what exactly happened. again, he asked me to go sleep. i did sleep a little until he called later in the morning. he said something like '不用担心. 那些白白的痕迹我polish一下就不见了啦. ok? (dont worry. those white markings will be gone if i polish a bit. ok?) '. i heaved a sigh of relief uponing hearing this. i guess he knew that i was more worried than him about the incident and couldnt sleep and so he called to assure that it's not of a big problem. so nice of him to make a call back to me uh. last monday night before leaving house, he still asked if i want to drive to saf ferry terminal and encouraged me to drive despite of the small mistake i made on sat. i still thought he will not let me drive. in the end, i didnt drive la as i'm still a bit scared. hahaha.

ronald lee is my cousin. he's now a recruit going through his BMT phase. he had his fieldcamp 2 weeks ago. normally, parents will be given a letter with an envolope. it's for them to pen down words of encouragement so that the letter can be give to the recruit during their toughest part of the BMT phase, which is the fieldcamp. having received the letter, the recruits might be given time for them to write back to their loved ones and surprisingly, i was one of the loved ones. i didnt expect that ronald would wrote a letter to me. it was written on 9th dec, during his fieldcamp. although it's a simple letter with a bit of camo patches, i was super happy when i received it. really glad to know that my cousin still think of me during the tough time and that he's doing good. yes, a few more weeks to your graduation parade and i'll be there to watch you pass out from BMT. however, there's something else i looking forward to too, which is breakfast @ chongpang tmr morning with you. yeah.

mah chen zhong, aka 'mah' and that's how we usually call him. it's kind of rude to call someone just by his surname uh, but chen zhong is someone who's easy going and doesnt mind people calling him by his surname (anyway, i'll try to change and call you chen zhong). haha. chen zhong booked in one night (last tuesday night if i'm not wrong) and placed a photo of me on my bed near the pillow. i was already sleeping by then. i woke up only when my face came in contact with the photo. in the dark, i held the photo up and tried to see who's in it. it turned out to be a photo of me taken by chen zhong with some writings on the other side, like a christmas card. very sweet of him to take the effort to make something like this. thank you chen zhong! looking forward to the cycling session with you and zahir on mon!

42.195km?

the big day started when i woke up at 0220h on sun morning. lejun came over for breakfast. dad then drove us to yishun stadium where the chartered bus pick-up point was. the bus driver went 2 rounds around orchard and didnt know where to drop us. the bus uncle stopped only when some of those sitting at the front requested the driver to stop. queued up for a while to deposit our bags. started the run at about 0524h. dazzling christmas lights in Orchard Road plus the many christmas trees. cool siol. we started quite slow. about 7+ mins per km.

long 18km along east coast park, from the 12th km onwards until 30th km mark. super boring. drank water for the 1st time at the 18th km mark. lost sight of lejun at about 20th or 21st km u-turn point. he lagged behind due to muscle strain i guess. ran alone for a while until zhiyi called me from behind. last time i saw him was during army half marathon. this time finally got the chance to talk to him. we walked and chatted at the same time. met several familiar faces at the event too. michael koh, jia da, jonathan chung, jun liang, WO chandran, vince...

started running again when i was about out from the park. the weather was super hot when i was at the stretch along marina bay golf course and across marina reservior. not much shelter. went past marina barrage and marina bay sands too. the 36+, 37th km to 38th km was a killer. the long upslope along East Coast Parkway killed almost everyone. we were all walking. hahaha. i was super tired already la, then this upslope popped out. walked until the top and slowly jogged down again. 40km onwards i still slowly jogging, cant run fast. experienced tightness in my calves whenever i tried to speed up for the last part. passed the finish line when the gun time was 6h 19m. total time i took for the marathon is 5h 55m. slightly slower than last year's timings.

collected the finisher items (a medal and a finisher tee) and sat down to rest for a while. asked one of the volunteers where to collect my bags. she answered, 'it's at the F1 pit. just walk down along the stretch of toilet...' i just replied an 'orh. thanks!' i thought about it again and realised that the F1 pit is quite far away from padang, probably 1 to 2 km away! they should have set the baggage collection point nearer lo. organisation of this year's marathon wasnt as good as last year. a lot of people walking to the F1 pit to collect their bags were complaining (click here to see what some of them have to say). alright. well done, runners. we are finishers of 44.195km (42.195km for the marathon + 2km to collect bags from F1 pit)!

Just The Way You Are - Bruno Mars

Just The Way You Are - Bruno Mars

Oh her eyes, her eyes
Make the stars look like they’re not shining
Her hair, her hair
Falls perfectly without her trying

She’s so beautiful
And I tell her every day

Yeah I know, I know
When I compliment her
She wont believe me
And it's so, it's so
Sad to think she don’t see what I see

But every time she asks me do I look okay
I say

When I see your face
There’s not a thing that I would change
Cause you’re amazing
Just the way you are
And when you smile
The whole world stops and stares for a while
Cause girl you’re amazing
Just the way you are

Her lips, her lips
I could kiss them all day if she’d let me
Her laugh, her laugh
She hates but I think it's so sexy

She’s so beautiful
And I tell her every day

Oh you know, you know, you know
I'd never ask you to change
If perfect is what you’re searching for
Then just stay the same

So don’t even bother asking
If you look okay
You know I say

When I see your face
There’s not a thing that I would change
Cause you’re amazing
Just the way you are
And when you smile
The whole world stops and stares for a while
Cause girl you’re amazing
Just the way you are

The way you are
The way you are
Girl you’re amazing
Just the way you are

When I see your face
There’s not a thing that I would change
Cause you’re amazing
Just the way you are
And when you smile
The whole world stops and stares for a while
Cause girl you’re amazing
Just the way you are

051210, the big day

my 3rd and also the last fieldcamp for the 04/10 batch of recruits was finally over! it rained almost every day last week. things didnt go very smoothly though. i dont understand why some people just like to find faults in others and publicise them. horrible people. slept at the urban ops area on thursday night. was looking at the many many stars and thinking about the past 1½ years. emo siol. left only about 2 more months to ORD and i'm still feeling a bit lost. haiya.

tmr is the standchart marathon lo. the weather is a little gloomy now uh. please rain as heavy as possible today and hopefully the weather for tmr will be good. haha. tonight i'll be sleeping super early at 8pm. have to wake up at about 2++am later to take the chartered bus @ 3-3.30am to orchard road as this year's full marathon start point is there. half marrathon's start point is along sentosa gateway and the half marathoners will be running around sentosa as part of their race route! 1st time sentosa is part of the race route. haha. good weather tmr pleaseeee.
